From November 30 through to December 13, 2024, the tariff fuel surcharge will be 27.55%. For customers with fixed rate pricing (volume discounts) the fuel surcharge will be 34.55%.

From November 16 through to November 29, 2024, the tariff fuel surcharge will be 26.80%. For customers with fixed rate pricing (volume discounts) the fuel surcharge will be 33.80%.

As part of their Climate Change Plan, the federal government implemented a coordinated nation-wide carbon price beginning at $20 per tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions (tCO2e) in 2019. As of April 1, 2023 this cost has increased by 225% to $65 per tonne. All provinces and territories must maintain a carbon price of at least $65 per tCO2e in 2023.

This increase effects multiple aspects of the economy and impacts costs across our entire network ranging from transportation costs to energy costs for heating, to equipment purchases and maintenance.

As a result of this change, we have incurred an increase in our overall costs. As such, it is necessary for us to apply a Carbon Surcharge of 2.5% effective September 1st, 2023 for all shipments handled across our network.

Effective April 15th, Loomis Express will be applying a fee on professional and administrative services. These will include, but not limited to, Invoicing adjustments deemed to be the result of customer errors and technical resources beyond the support of Loomis owned shipping systems. Fee may also apply to operational services provided outside of the scope of our normal operations.
The new easy-intuitive-integrated webship guest portal is now live. Enjoy the seamless experience of online shipping when paying with your credit card. Check out the user guide here for more information.
Effective February 3, 2023, pickup locations serviced by the Boucherville terminal will be charged a weekly pickup of $7.50 or a daily pickup fee of $2.75, depending on service requirements. The fee is due to the impact of the extensive long-term construction on the Lafontaine Tunnel.

We are launching a new and improved WebShip designed to enhance the experience of using online shipping services by Loomis Express by making it easier, more intuitive, and integrated to work seamlessly for your business!

The new WebShip will be launched in two phases:

Phase 1: Guest Portal - Launched in 2023.

Phase 2: Business Portal - Launching in Q2 2024. You can now ship your packages with fewer clicks and more features, plus a seamlessly integrated shipping experience.

Key features include:

  • Marketplace plugins to automatically import your online orders.
  • Ability to use your Loomis Express account with customized discounts.
  • Access to Loomis Express and other TFI International Transportation solutions.
  • All your orders, activity, and history on a single online platform for complete automation, control, and real-time visibility.
